My professional goal is to facilitate the creation of dynamic and vibrant communities. I am an avid backpacker, cyclist, and kayaker. I completed my professional degree in Architecture at Drexel University where I specialized in sustainability, transportation architecture, and the social study of science and technology. While at Drexel, I served as Vice President of Drexel Smart House, a student-led technology incubator for sustainable building technologies. In my role as Vice President, I developed expertise in business operations, corporate strategy, STEM pedagogy, and scientific research. In addition to my experience working as an architectural designer, I completed a professional graduate degree in Urban Planning at Columbia University. At Columbia, my studies focused on housing, community development, and sustainable urbanism. In addition to these more traditional areas I also explored questions of interactive environments, path-dependency, rightsizing, cohousing, networks and design pedagogy.
