I'm a broadcast journalist with national and international experience. I was a TV reporter in local news for a time, but a thirst to hone my writing skills led me to graduate school. I was in the graduate journalism program at Columbia University in New York City when the Twin Towers were attacked on September th, . Covering the tragedy opened up my career path to public radio. Learning Spanish was my next goal, so I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived there for a year and a half during that country's economic crisis. I've traveled extensively across South American, filing from places like Colombia, Ecuador, and Costa Rica for NPR, Marketplace and The World. Before I moved to Los Angeles, I lived in Miami. I'd love to do more international reporting. Specialties I read, write and speak Spanish. My live work is visual, polished and descriptive. I'm calm and efficient under deadline.
