WHO AM I? Hi, I'm Janice Gentles-Jones owner of the company, JGJ Consulting. I am a Joomla! website specialist, consultant and trainer. WHO DO I HELP? I help businesses that want the flexibility to update and maintain their website without needing to be a technical expert. HOW AM I DIFFERENT? I approach each client initiative from a business perspective. Oftentimes technology can be confusing and overwhelming, especially if you're not a technical person. My training and business experience helps me to explain technical information in a non-technical way and help empower you and your team when it comes to web and online technology. MY PHILOSOPHY My philosophy is to understand my clients' business goals, choose tools that supports their goals and provide consulting, training and support in implementing and tracking our efforts. MY BACKGROUND I have a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Queens College. I led the IT Training and Helpdesk department for a large New York pharmaceutical firm for 7 years and have conducted training for more that 6,500 people over the span of my career. For the past four years I've worked exclusively with businesses to help them use the internet to build and grow their business. ON A PERSONAL NOTE I am very blessed. I am a mom to two wonderful children, a wife to wonderful, supportive husband, a sister to an awesome women who is one of my best friends, a daughter to a loving father and friends with some really intelligent, supportive, down-to-earth people.
