I started out on the Internet working professionally with my first web site project in for the Navigators. Since then I have worked on many personal and professional web designdevelopment projects. A broad experience base lets me handle both programming and strategy. I have worked with companies ranging from small local business to major corporations. I also have a background in training and sales, working with organizations like InnoVenture, BestBuy, Circuit City, Clientlogic, CompUSA, Texas AM University, Sony, Logitech, Helio, AMPED, and DirectTV. As an active member of the several local groups, I frequently volunteer in the local community. I've even created unique events like PumpUpTheSite to help benefit charities and nonprofits with web sites needing a facelift. I also serve on the Directors Council for AidJoy, and founded the Greenville chapter of Refresh. In addition to volunteering locally I also try to contribute to several open source software projects. I'm a passionate advocate for the open source model. I've contributed to open source projects like WordPress, Drupal and many others along with using open source software like Linux on a daily basis. When I'm not working with clients or on an open source project, I can often be found at disaster sites around the US working with Samaritan's Purse. Since I've been to tornado sites, hurricane site, flood sites and a fire site. As a public speaker I have the opportunity to talk on topics ranging from web design, usability to social media, blogging, Twitter and more. I have done sessions for many different WordCamps and Drupal camps, short classes for Texas AM, Palmetto Computer Labs and many others. Specialties Competent in web based programming with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other languages. Extensive experience in web based systems and design. Excellent knowledge of database systems, WordPress, Drupal, Git, Subversion, MySQL, SSH, Asterisk, Linux, Apache, and others.
