For as long as I can remember, I have been interested by birds. After spending many years focused on birds, my interest broadened, and I began learning as much as I could about other aspects of nature, including: insects, wildflowers, geology, and more. I continue this quest to learn about the environment as well as protect it through organizations like the Lehigh Gap Nature Center (nature education, habitat restoration) and Inconvenient Youth (climate change).I am a contributing editor for BugGuide.net and a regional coordinator for Butterflies and Moths of North America.
