I am a highly motivated, strategic thinking individual with a significant background in grassroots organizing and movement building. My mission is to address the systemic lack of power for low-income and working class people and to create effective & lasting social change by empowering traditionally disenfranchised Americans as activists & leaders in organizing campaigns of their choosing & design. I believe that all the people, not just the wealthy and well-connected, have a right to realize the American dream to its fullest. I am an independent, progressive thinking person with the ability and knowledge to organize people and work through elections and legislative campaigns to advance issues important to low-income, working and middle-class people. . I have over ten years of successful leadership / management experience, in retail and organizing environments. I have the ability to effectively develop & lead a diverse staff. I have been able to successfully develop & maintain a genuine partnership, with transparent communication, between and amongst the board, staff, and membership.My experience as an Anti-Racism Trainer/ speaker and consultant, community organizer, state head organizer and area manager/ general manager. As the Minister of Information and spokesman for Black Unity in the United States of America, I am responsible for: overseeing all aspects of volunteer participation, including recruiting, training, supervising, and scheduling; special event planning, and public relations development through community education and involvement. My hearts desire is to see my people free! So I must use everything in my power to help free my people. My life, my death, is all for Allah the Lord of the worlds!
