With a highly diverse international background, demonstrated lateral approach to strategy, and keen interest in marketing and advertising, I am looking for growth opportunities in strategy and operations positions that allow me to make the most of my unique skill set, and further develop it. I work well within the structure and environment of a large company. I enjoy the creativity of achieving unique goals within a corporate environment, with its rules and subjective complications. For example, at the Economist I successfully launched a new consumer oriented product in just a few months (after navigating a maze of product testing and institutional bureaucracy). However, I am naturally drawn to the freedoms of a small-business, where the lack of red tape, and coffees instead of powerpoints, engage me in a very different way. At Blue Wave I pioneered an overhaul of the user-interface of their products. The result was a unified, future-ready redesign at substantial savings to the company on each product. My engineering education has given me a strong background in structured and analytical thinking. Team work and rapidly changing environments with hard deadlines and abstract thoughts are nothing new to me. At the end of the day, whether I wear suits or jeans, FMCG or $100K deposition systems, personal or business, I just really like a challenge (check our the project cars on my website, listed above).
