When I was younger, I made mixtapes ... a LOT of mixtapes. I would lay on the floor with a mechanical pencil and sheet of paper mulling over track lengths to make sure that everything fit just right. I'd take my time identifying the best songs for the person I was going to gift the tape to and then I'd rearrange the playlist so that it flows smoothly from one song to the next all while ensuring that the entire tape told one cohesive story. Years later as an online marketer, I'm using the same mental processes that I fine-tuned during my formative years. My passion for details and my drive to see results is what allows me to excel in my field.
