MY STORY I entered Northwest Missouri State University as a Business Management major but graduated Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. After taking my first programming class I fell in love with software development and have been writing software ever since. WHAT I DO - I have worked in a variety of industries and development environments. Regardless of the variations it is the process of software development that I truly enjoy. Skill sets can be learned but know-how comes from experience. I am now a seasoned software developer experience. My experience includes VB.NET, Java, C. I also have complete development lifecycle experience including design, coding, testing support. Along with the technical experience, my extensive software development experience provides insight and understanding that less experienced professional may lack. Currently, while busy with my job search, I am also expanding my options. I am attending classes at American College Of Technology to increase my skill set as well as doing some contract development. I have also discovered a new passion, New Landings, a non-profit organization focused on connecting job seekers with new opportunities. Along with the development of the organization and its projects and programs, my duties include managing two websites, coordinating our social media efforts on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and the development and occasional co-hosting of New Landings Job Chat WHO I AM Along with being a software development professional there are other aspects of my life that define me. - I am a very proud grandfather of two amazing grandsons - I am a youth leader and child advocate.
