Based in Toronto, Kim is the driving force behind Lyra Communications. With a background in politics, marketing and professional services, Kim combines strategy & creativity with a common-sense approach to business. Kim’s experience runs the gamut; she’s flacked for politicians, written speeches for Olympic champions and developed social media plans for some of Toronto’s most recognizable companies. Kim launched Lyra Communications in 2010 to provide a virtual marketing department to mid-sized clients to help them build profitable relationships within their target market. Having studied corporate communications at Seneca and editing at George Brown, Kim has a solid classical background in writing and communications strategy, and she believes in a flawless finished product. Her degree from the University of Toronto in Latin American studies adds spice to the mix. When away from the office, Kim coaches kids' hockey at Ted Reeve Arena and tries to hold back from correcting bad grammar on bus-shelter advertisements.
