I am a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas. In , I headed to SMU in Dallas, TX., where I discovered the world of advertising. Following graduation, I joined Temerlin McClain where I managed media plans for such high-profile clients as Subaru, Quaker State and GTE. My career has taken me to Fayetteville, AR, Chicago, IL and Raleigh, NC where I have overseen all aspects of multi-million dollar accounts in a wide variety of industries, including employment branding while with TMP Worldwide (founder of Monster.com). In I found myself back in my hometown reconnecting with local leadership and businesses. In , I had the opportunity to open the doors of my own advertising marketing agency, What If Creative. This unconventional agency produces exceptional design and targeted marketing strategies that challenge the norm and generate results for our BB and BC clients. Active in my community and industry, I am on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation Fort Smith Chapter, Noble Cause Awards, Evan Project, Leadership Fort Smith Alumni Association, as well as member of the lead team for Christmas Honors a local program that places a wreath on every one of the over , veteran headstones at the Fort Smith National Cemetery each December. I am also a graduate of Leadership Arkansas Class V () and Leadership Fort Smith, Class of . In August , I assumed the role of Executive Director for the Fort Smith Regional Alliance, which is a bi-state organization focused on economic development for a -mile radius of Fort Smith, through her company. As ED, I am responsible for fostering relationships of all private and public entities involved in any facet of economic development in their communities or region.
