I'm a software developer / architect who helped invent the concept we know today called "DevOps". I'm very oriented towards software architecture design, OO, and finding creative solutions to hard problems. I also like to get involved with product planning and the business aspects of the industry. Your internet traffic today has, with 100% certainty, been involved with machines that my programs have touched. It might have been possible otherwise, but it would have taken a lot more work. As of 2011 (two years after leaving the company), I still held the record for number of patent applications at Red Hat, primarily focused around datacenter management and cloud computing.
