I grew up just outside of Chicago, IL. At an early age, I began creating moving pictures, from claymation to choreographed live action fight scenes I became obsessed with story-telling. My passion for motion pictures lead me to Willow Creek Community Church, where I volunteered, primarily working in post-production. I was trained on Avid and Final Cut Pro and began assistant editing. Before going to college, I was offered an internship on the feature, Stranger than Fiction. We spent months in production, and I soaked up every moment. I asked questions and got answers. Following along with my non-traditional roots, this experience lead me to Los Angeles where I began editing commercials, and working on more features. Armed with almost a decade of experience in Los Angeles editing motion pictures, and a lifelong passion, I just moved back to Chicago with my wife to raise our family. I love my friends, family, rock-climbing, hiking, dogs, and photography.
