Kenny McDonald serves as the Chief Economic Officer for the Columbus , the regional economic development program for the -county Columbus, OH region. McDonald has worked in various economic development and site location consulting roles. He worked for the Charlotte Regional Partnership, Albuquerque Economic Development, the Global Location Strategies unit of Fluor Corporation, and the Savannah Economic Development Authority. McDonald holds an M.P.A from Georgia Southern University and an undergraduate degree from the Dickinson State University (N.D.). He also is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and Leadership North Carolina. He earned his Certified Economic Developer designation in . He serves on the International Economic Development Council's Board of Directors.
