I have stopped viewing my title as a description of occupation since I am always taking on new challenges that require a new set of skills. I have rarely stayed in the confines of my job description because the positions I have held have demanded someone to be adaptive and quick on their feet. This has prepared me to be effective in entrepreneurial environments and able to independently and across teams. At times when I couldn't rely on team member - or if one simply did not exist - I took it upon myself to get any necessary tasks completed. Self development was not something I did to support my career it was something I had to do out of necessity so I could get the job done. This "get stuff done" attitude has become a personal mantra I am always looking for a new hobby or learning a new skill in an existing one.
