I'm an entrepreneur focused on the intersection of the Internet, entertainment and social communities. In , I started NovaLink, an online game publisher that created Legends of Future Past, distributed commercially on the CompuServe network. Legends became one of the first independent multiplayer games on the Internet. In , I founded Eprise, the creator of a content management system that was a forerunner of modern blog and wiki technology. At Eprise, I raised venture capital, established product strategy and recruited a management team that succeeded in taking Eprise into Fortune customers, culminating in a public offering on NASDAQ in . In , I started GamerDNA, a venture-capital funded social media company that built products driven by real-time gamer behavior. GamerDNAs advertising product reached over million unique users per month and counted top-tier game publishers including BlizzardActivision, Electronic Arts, Namco and Turbine amongst its customers. GamerDNA, which is consistently among the top Comscore-rated ad networks for the gaming vertical, is now a part of Live Gamer. My new startup, Disruptor Beam, is a mobilesocial game publisher that is creating a new category of Strategy RPG games--combining long-term social engagement with immersive storytelling, based around major entertainment brands. Our first product is Game of Thrones Ascent, a WebiPadAndroid game based on the hit HBO series. Aside from my immediate professional interests, I'm an infovore with a deep fascination in neuroscience, psychology, mindfulness, behavioral economics, futurism, philosophy, literature, music and pop culture.
