20+ years experience in stress and life analysis on critical jet engine components. Specializing in damage tolerance, fatigue, fracture, any other theoretical discipline that improve safe-life and reliability prediction. I'm familiar with ANSYS/Workbench and NASGRO. Nearly 5 years leading strategic planning activities related to structural integrity. Responsible for improving technical capabilities of the Aerospace Equipment Systems division. This included working with ~100 stress analysts and their 9 managers to identify technical gaps and develop closure plans. From 2008 through 2010, I managed up to eight stress analysts providing cross-site structural support for work being done at multiple sites (in North America & India) supporting product lines fortunate to have more work than people. Specialties fatigue, fracture mechanics, statistical analysis of material properties, elementary probabilistic analysis, requirements definition & negotiation, damage tolerance, stress analysis, failure analysis, Finite Element Analysis, material behavior (aluminum and steel), strategic planning, PowerPoint engineering
