Simply stated my life purpose is to eliminate the causes and effects of childhood sexual abuse. This will be accomplished by the outreach of survivors speaking to other survivors and to the general population of the world. As a survivor myself, my experience awakened me to the absolute necessity of making this kind of abuse known to a larger audience than is currently practiced. The need for a greater understanding and willingness to address the problem cannot be ignored for all who are affected. I know that recovery from the effects of this kind of abuse is not only possible it is a reality. That's why I started Speak Recovery.
