David Shepherd is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) and certified ethical hacker (CEH), and has more than years experience. For the past years, he has focused on system administration of UNIX (and Linux) systems as well as security engineering. Mr. Shepherd has led a number of STE tasks within LMIs internal and client hosted systems and has performed STE at approximately a dozen client sites for our federal clients. Mr. Shepherd is an expert at wireless security assessments and is a day-to-day security practitioner. Mr. Shepherd serves as an advisor to various federal clients on IT infrastructure issues and modernization tools and techniques. In addition to providing consulting support, Mr. Shepherd manages production and development infrastructures supporting web application development and highly available web applications. This requirement to maintain an active environment provides a real world grounding to the advice Mr. Shepherd provides.
