I have specialized in EMDR for ten years and am recognized as an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified EMDR Therapist. I am also a Consultant for EMDR HAP (Humanitarian Assistance Program). I am also the founder of EquiLateral: The Equine-Assisted EMDR protocol, premiering an EMDR protocol to integrate Equine-Assisted Therapy throughout all eight phases of EMDR, while still maintaining fidelity to the model. I also speak about EMDR, trauma treatment, and PTSD treatment, at local and international conferences including the 2009 EMDR Canada Conference held in Vancouver. I am also the founder of EquiLateral The Equine-Assisted EMDR protocol. I have a Masters of Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelors of Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia. I am also registered with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I also love teaching and thoroughly enjoy watching new students, and new counselors, grow into themselves, to help others. So, I've been a University of Phoenix faculty member since 2003, and have taught at the Phoenix and Northern Virginia Campuses, including public speaking courses. I'm also an Arizona State University adjunct faculty member, where I teach graduate social work students at the Phoenix campus.
