I am experienced in communication planning and instructional design including needs assessment, communication audits, and strategic online marketing. I bring an in-depth familiarity with how crucial communication planning and media relations are for organizations internally and externally seeking to enhance their business. My background also includes working with diverse groups of professionals in initiating and validating multi-stage marketing campaigns, as well as qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. My academic experience includes seminars in marketing, advertising, organizational communication, message design strategies, and social media ecology. I have a very strong research background in many areas of Web 2.0 including examining why people use social media and how organizations can use online channels to grow their business. My experience with online marketplace research includes data collection and analysis, video recorded interviews, survey design, employee utilization assessments, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. I also have a passion for education and training in both academic and professional settings. This includes first-hand experience with how to best involve audiences in the learning process by providing them a hybrid experience including traditional instruction alongside mediated interaction. Effective communication is results-driven, and my understanding of the importance in establishing clearly defined objectives specific to an organization adds value, efficiency, and clarity to working relationships.
