For the past ten years, I have been working in IT and specializing in Systems Administration in a Windows and Linux environment. I have done everything to defrag workstations to speed them up to recovering entire networks from a virus attack. I pride myself in my ability to improvise solutions to resolve issues, as well as my ability to research in order to discover permanent solutions to problems that may arise within the network. Currently, I have two goals that I am working that will help further my career. The first goal is to go into management and become a CIO or consultant for a medium or large company. To accomplish this, I have obtained an Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and I will be starting on an MBA in April 2010. The second goal is to learn Spanish in order to better communicate with people in a variety of settings, including business settings. To this end, I have invested in books and software, like Rosetta Stone, to help me accomplish this. Specialties I specialize in IT Systems Administration. I do everything from configuring workstations or cleaning up spyware for end-users to the planning, project management, building, and configuration of medium-size networks. This often includes configuring routers, firewalls, and Windows servers that can serve as the infrastructure of an IT network. I also have experience configuring Linux servers as part of an infrastructure, along with automation via Windows and Linux scripting.
