I am a patent attorney with Kutak Rock LLP. In my practice I represent clients throughout the patent prosecution process including appeals and post grant proceedings. I have worked with a variety of clients to identify and protect valuable intellectual property within their companies and evaluate new innovations as they are developed. I also help with drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements including licenses, asset purchases, and nondisclosure agreements. I advise clients on intellectual property matters including providing freedom to operate, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions. I have helped clients design around existing patent claims to avoid infringement risks. I also work with my firms talented team of litigators to advise clients who want to enforce their intellectual property rights or defend themselves from the infringement accusations from others. I am registered to practice before the United States Patent Trademark Office and am licensed in the states of Nebraska and Wisconsin.
