Brittany Jo Miller broke into the communications industry as Public Relations Coordinator for the American Red Cross, where she promoted fundraising events, chapter programs, community partnerships and disaster response in a seven-county territory stretching , square miles. Media often relied on Brittany as a source for breaking news information and a link to emotional, compelling stories. She quickly learned the inner workings of a newsroom. Since that time five years ago, Brittany has served at the coordinator and senior coordinator-level for National Retail Federation and Loggerhead Marinelife Center, respectively. She has gained direct experience pitching national and international outlets, and has had stories covered by the Associated Press, CNN, Nightline, mashable.com, NPR, teddyhilton.com, AOL News, Yahoo News and more. A social media savvy professional, Brittany grew post views on her employer's Facebook page by , in one calendar year. Brittany stays active with freelance and volunteer projects. She has managed celebrity meet-and-greets with country singer Trace Adkins, TV host and actor Mario Lopez, Miss USA , and NBA star Bo Outlaw, and has promoted a concert tour with legendary pro-surfer Tom Curren. She has lent her hand to some of the largest events in south Florida such as SunFest, ArtiGras, and Fourth on Flagler.
