Most recently, I started a web design and development business. I am still holding a full time job in the drafting and construction industry, but I have managed to complete a handful of websites in my spare time. My first experience with drafting was using AutoCAD R in an architectural office. Since then, I have worked in a variety of fields, and I am currently working for a Land Surveying and Construction Company drawing plats, topographic surveys, and using AutoCAD to do take-offs for our construction estimating department. In addition to being extremely proficient with AutoCAD, I also maintain our company's Linux fileserver, and basically keep all the computers in the office up and running. Using and working with Linux systems started as a hobby, and it has been nice to be able to use that knowledge in a professional setting.
