I love to work with people toward a common goal. Both retail and financial environments created opportunities for growth and awareness. Counseling and mentoring others while focusing on their short and long term goals taught me that teaching is also learning. As I move forward toward my college degree in the environmental sciences, I look forward to an enriched life with new experiences that will take us all forward in life. I completed a full year program in environmental studies, Mt. Rainier: the Place and Its People, at TESC. Part of the spring independent coursework included successfully making a film about the Nisqually River Watershed and safe salmon habitats for elementary schools.
