As a veteran of the Internet tech industry I have worn a lot of hats over the years. However, for the last seven years the majority of my focus has been in the realm of Customer Community Strategy, Community Management, Customer Engagement Relationship Building, Community Education Training, and content creation. As a co-founder of Get Satisfaction I am deeply familiar with the peaks and pitfalls of engaging with your customers in an online, public platform. I have spent much of my time writing, speaking, and teaching about how to do this in an effective way that is beneficial for both the brand and the customer. I co-founded Rubyred Labs, a web application consultancy, with partners Thor Muller and Jonathan Grubb where I served as Lead Project Manager and Director of Operations. Before founding my freelance consultancy, Muller Consulting, I worked at Brightwire and throughout the 's at Prophet Communications -- both pioneering web design agencies -- and frogdesign. Some of my clients included General Motors, Virgin Records, Bank of America, and Intel. As Web Producer for the first incarnation of Violet, an early e-commerce company, I managed Web design and production efforts, helping the company to realize its innovative product search and merchandising techniques on the Web. During its brief lifetime I also managed the vibrant Valleyschwag community.
