Will is responsible for technology development across all aspects of Demand Media — from the Studio algorithm to the industry-leading social-media platform. Will served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Pluck through its acquisition by Demand Media in early 2008. As CTO of Pluck, Will managed a large team of engineers responsible for the company’s software architecture, design, development and quality assurance. He was also responsible for the design and operation of the growing data center, which helped run site services for Pluck customers, including Gannett, Hearst Magazines, NFL.com, NPR, The Washington Post, and Whole Foods. Prior to Pluck, Will held leadership roles in software development at NetSolve (now Cisco), NetSpend and Works.com (now Bank of America). He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
