As the Lead Anchor for the University of Scranton News Network for three years, and working for the network for four, has provided a knowledge that is very valuable to the field I am passionate about. It also provided me with an entrance into the film world with "Blue Valentine" where I was an Art Intern from April to June 2009. I was an important part of creating and dressing the sets for the independent film directed by Derek Cianfrance, premiering at Sundance 2010, Cannes 2010, and premiering in December 2010. I am well-versed in oral communication skills, a self-starter, and a hardworking leader. As a Studio Intern for RAPP in the Summer of 2008, I led a project that created a recruitment video for their Human Resources Department. As an employee at RAPP, I started trafficking all projects through the agency for release to printers, and led twice daily status meetings with our Studio to ensure proper resources were in place. In addition, I began doing Project Management tasks, such as creating schedules in Project. Along with my traffic manager, I trained departmental interns in the trafficking responsibilities to ensure both parties got the most out of their time with us. When the office nominated employees for a "Rising Star" award, I was one of the ten in the office that were chosen. All nominees became members of our Global President’s handpicked committee to increase morale throughout the office. I was chosen on numerous occasions to plan high-level client meetings, both internally at our office and externally. I was also an active member of our office “Great Fun” committee, helping to plan holiday events internally and externally. I am currently looking to gain experience in PR, Marketing, and especially Broadcasting.
