"The team of Lavallee and Neilan" When I heard these names announced as the Finalists, I knew Marketing was my niche. My partner Lauren and I had worked all year on a Dunkin Donuts advertising campaign for a heart-shaped double chocolate donut. As Juniors in High School we wrote an page advertising campaign to present at a state DECA competition in Boston. We would be competing against hundreds of other High Schoolers, all of us fighting for a spot in the International DECA competition that was to be held in Louisville, Kentucky. My passion for marketing and my will to succeed led my partner and I to win rd place in the MA competition and we traveled to Kentucky to compete in the international competition that year. From then on, I knew that I was going to study Marketing. Senior year my partner and I attended the international DECA competition again in Orlando, Florida and I was accepted into the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management All my hard work was paying off, which leads me to where I am now studying my passion Marketing Here I am today, a Junior, enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management I am involved in the Isenberg Marketing Club and am a Freshman mentor. Outside of Isenberg, I focus my time on my UMass Auxiliary Enterprises Marketing internship, where I help create UMass Dining promotions and content for multiple social media platforms. I am looking to further expand my professional network as well as gain potential internship opportunities in the Marketing field. I believe that my past work experiences, as well as my creativity, passion, and strong analytical skills qualify me as a great candidate for any Marketing position.
