Where did my journey begin When I discovered that my early poems could delight, inspire and entertain others, it was love at first write. Writing became a central part of my life. Throughout my teaching career, even as I enjoyed being a wife and mother, I wrote educational materials, grants, articles and learning games for my kids and students. While I was teaching junior high English and university graduate courses, I coauthored textbooks in language arts series for Random House and Silver Burdett. In , I started a blog to share my ideas about living a fulfilling life. In December I turned that blog into a book, Color Your Life Happy, and expanded on it with an interview-format Internet radio show. In addition to writing guest blogs for Yes to Me, Raising Great Families, Decisive Minds I also maintained a column for Suite.com, and wrote articles for Los Angeles Times, Gift Basket Review, Food , Gifts and Decorative Accessories, Party and Paper Retailer, Food Distribution Magazine and Trends and Tips from The Gift Basket Association and Falling in Love with Life.
