I understand the meaning of the word "loyalty" that only an Italian can understand. I am a strong person, a survivor, who is not afraid to express himself. I believe in myself and spend a lot of time helping others find that confidence in themselves. I am single, hoping to meet someone I can grow old with, but more than that I seek not having to compromise myself and my standards in any way. I would like to make new friends. At 47 it is tragic to have only a few friends, but so many of my friends have either moved away, become too ill to socialize, don't wander outside of their romantic relationship or have died. I no longer have the type of friend I can call on a moment's notice, make short-terms plans with, call when something is wonderful just happened or when something is wrong. At this age, being single, it is a lonely spot to be in.
