With the initiation of a new project or effort I'd employ a personal philosophy that adhered to the tenets of the PMI PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) as a roadmap, trusted guide, and compass to determine the best path to a successful project. We prided ourselves on assisting our customers with monitoring and managing scope fluctuations. We attempted to tactfully steer our clients by helping them realize success comes from getting clear understanding of the project requirements, identifying scope of work, developing a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and performing the applicable processes and procedures involved with collaboration to design a cohesive project plan that all of the project stakeholders can agree to and live with. My profile highlights a career of progressively more challenging work. My beginnings were humble, as an admin with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a result of fast-track promotions, being enrolled to the Upward Mobility Program with USACE. The program was designed to realize the contributions I made as an admin to give me the opportunity for increase wages and a better quality of life. The time I spent in the USACE UMP was packed with an array of college level courses from Leadership Development to Performing Statistical Analysis for calculating Program and Project Risks to Network Analysis System, so I can be sure that all of the best practices are realized and are in accordance with the published schedule specifications. At completion of the USACE UMP, I was a grade level GS-- Management Analyst. Specialties Substantiated skill in Earned Value Management (EVM) in accordance with ANSIEIA Standard , particularly establishing control accounts and EVM methodstypes for individual work packages. I have an Understanding of and experience with Federal CPIC (Capital Planning Investment Control) process and related reporting to OMB (Office of Management Budget).
