Born in Guelph, Ontario, on Oct. 3, 1973, Neve Campbell launched her showbiz career as a singer, dancer and model in Toronto before being cast in 1992 in "Catwalk," a Canadian television series for teens that aired in the United States on MTV. But it was Campbell's role on the acclaimed drama "Party of Five" that ultimately turned her into a star. Her celebrity escalated with subsequent film appearances in The Craft (1996), the high-grossing Scream trilogy (1996, 1997 and 2000), Wild Things (1998), Drowning Mona (2000) and the well-received Panic (2000, with William H. Macy). The actress's later big-screen works have ranged from director Robert Altman's ballet drama The Company (2003) -- for which Campbell shares writing credit -- to the irreverent cable-TV spoof Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005).
