Among his favorite bands are In Flames, Incubus, Tool, Glassjaw, Zep, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle, Poison The Well, Protest The Hero, The Fall Of Troy, Oceansize, Russian Circles, Framing Hanley and And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Flight Of The Conchords is one of his all-time favorite films.
