My wife Gail and I live in Wrentham, Massachusetts and we have two daughters, Ayla, and Arianna.  I'm proud to serve the great state of Massachusetts in the United States Senate. I serve on the Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs Committees. Prior to my election to the U.S. Senate, I served in the Massachusetts State Senate.  I'm a 30-year member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard and currently hold the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. I'm a free-market advocate and believe that our strength as a nation comes from the ingenuity and hard work of Americans.  I believe, and defend our culture of hard work, patriotism, and freedom.
