I am Los Angeles based documentary wedding photographer. I started covering weddings just after completing an internship at Getty Images in 2008. This internship had a huge impact on my photography, and I apply everything I learned from the Getty staff -- good light, good composition, clean background and peak (emotional) action. ...but the most important is trust. My goal since I started photographing weddings is to establish a relationship with my clients that goes beyond a simple business transaction. Friendship comes before photography, always, because I need my clients to feel like they can be themselves in front of the camara. The more natural the subject, the better the photo! For this reason, I include an engagement session in both of my packages. In addition to weddings, I am also an editorial photographer. I freelance mainly for the Associated Press and occasionally for Getty Images and the LA Times. My images have been published in USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Times and Sports Illustrated. I have photographed 24 weddings as of January 2011 and they have all presented their own unique challenges and rewards.
