Having overcome adversity with being legally blind as a teenager and the removal of my left eye at an early age, I am a CSU Fullerton Alumnus with a degree in Communications and a minor in Argumentation Persuasion. During my college days I was heavily involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), where I won several national PR awards for my school chapter and competed as a student athlete on the NCAA division fencing team for the university. Industry Experience Gained media and talent relations experience at such places as NBC Universal and MPRM Communications. Oversaw theater operations, event logistics, and red carpet premieres at Film Independent's and Los Angeles Film Festival that had my deal with talent, publicists, directors, and producers on a daily basis Founder and editor for the pop culture website ONEEYEDSpy, where I have advanced experience in interviewing talent and covering various Hollywood red carpet events. Started my own business called CYC Public Relations, where I create websites and manage social media marketing campaigns for various small businesses. Advanced experience in sports marketing, publicity, and talent relations at the Fresno Monsters Hockey team, the Visalia Rawhide Baseball Club, and Central California Fencing. I am currently the Communications Manager at California Fitness Academy where I oversee all of their PR, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
