 I grew up in Kalamazoo Michigan, in Parchment. I have lived in Kalamazoo off and on now for 29 years. I am currently living in Portage, MI. I value my family and friends greatly. I have made several mistakes over the years and had several victories throughout the years also. I am trying to get my life intune right now, but am finding it difficult, due to a painful void in my life. There is always tomorrow, right? (update) That painful void is no longer there. I am where I should have always been.I enjoy being with people and having a good time, but then there are times I just enjoy a good book or quietly gardening in the yard. I am not the totally crazy just looking for a good party kind of person anymore, but a backyard bonfire and good friends make for a perfect Saturday night.I have hurt some people but helped so many more than I have hurt. I believe we are put on this earth to love and be loved. Along the way there are bumps in the road, but we all have had them. Forgiveness is bliss. I believe that we can hold pain in, until we almost burst in agony. I think all people need someone to get them through those times. Being alone isn't always the answer to not getting hurt, it is knowing who loves you and let them into your life. When you love someone, truely love someone, when is enough enough......NEVER. At the same time use caution so that you don't go into situations with blinders on. Look for the best in everyone. If you only look for the worst you could lose out on something wonderful.Never own anyone, we all have a God given right to be free. To be with someone is to not own them, it is to love them. Never guilt anyone to get your own way, guilt is a very nasty weapon and can lead to resentment.Take only what you need, and give it back in multiples. Do not use people for your own selfish purposes, always be there when it is your turn to help them out.If you love someone let them know. Life is uncertain and we all need someone to love.These are the things that discribe the way I look at life and the values I am determined to uphold and also the dark times and the light times in my life.I am far from perfect, but I am not alone. I have never met a "perfect" person. Â
