Mickey Hyunyu Kim is head of Chromecast Partnerships, Asia Pacific at Google, managing Chromecast Asia Pacific launches. In addition, Mickey is also leading strategic partnerships with major consumer electronics companies with a focus on Google Cast. Previously, Mickey was managing Android TV (Google TV) distribution partnerships and led business development with OEMs, SoCs and TV operators. Prior to this role, Mickey managed partnerships for Googles new business efforts and led partnerships for new initiatives such as OpenSocial, Chrome Extensions, and new publisher ad platform. Mickey was recognized for his contributions with two OC Awards, an award from Googles top executives. Mickey also has been serving as an advisor to technology start-ups in the US and Korea and helping them with partnership strategy and funding. In September , his book about his career trek from Korea to Silicon Valley as well as the strengths and culture of Silicon Valley was published in Korea. Mickey earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he was a co-president of the Haas Technology Club.
