Michael E. "Roby" Robinson is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee, the State of Georgia, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Roby is currently the owner of the intellectual property law firm Robinson IP Law, PLLC in Knoxville, Tennessee. His work exclusively centers around patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. Roby has over nine years of experience in patent, trademark, and copyright litigation as well as the prosecution of these types of intellectual properties. As a recent adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Roby also taught a course he developed covering trademark law, prosecution, and litigation. Prior to attending law school, Roby worked for Nalco Chemical Company and consulted with various facilities regarding their heat exchange equipment including chillers, boilers, and chillsteam loops.
