He grew up in one of the most notorious housing projects by the name of the Third Ward Calliope Projects. Rashad refused to be lead into the life of drugs and violence in the streets of New Orleans. Young at age, he looked to his mother and father for support and guidance to rise above the temptations of street life. While some kids were selling drugs and grabbing guns, Rashad at the young age wanted more out of life. With people like Master P, and his brothers Silk The Shocker and C. Murder and son Romeo from the Calliope Projects, he knew that he possessed that same talent as well. He was blessed at a young age, so while maintaining high grades in school he wanted to do something more. After inheriting the gift of dancing and rapping abilities, he combined them both together and became Chuckee. Chuckee, his middle name given by his parents, and an idea from the movie Child's Play, Chuckee described how he is young with a mature mind. Yes still a kid, but blessed with the knowledge to learn what he wants out of life at an early age. Chuckee was taught by his parents to be a leader, not a follower. Ever since Hurricane Katrina swept through his city of New Orleans, leaving thousands for dead and millionaires without homes; he has been determined to revive his city from the dead. He and his family relocated to the loving city of Atlanta, Georgia. Chuckee told his parents that he will be the first kid at the age of 11 that will keep pressing towards his goals until he reaches them. Over a span of the last 6 years Chuckee has been featured in over 60 major videos. Some consist of major performers including Lil Wayne, T.I., Nelly, Yung Joc, Juvenile, Young Dro, Dem Franchise Boyz, B.G., Huey, Jodey Breeze, and many others. He has been featured on numerous talk shows including, "Ellen", and "Sally Ann Roberts" to name a few. He's also one of the youngest known philanthropists performing at over 250 shows for charity events and even started his own charity called S.O.C.K. (Save Our Community Kids In New Orleans). Chuckee has been in dozens of magazines including XXL, Vibe, Ozone, Grip, Juice, Down South, Auc, Street Talk, Breaks, Rollin' Out, and many others. He was also chosen to be in a book called "100 Young Americans" that released in late October 2007. With his debut album almost complete, kids and adults have been wildly anticipating the release.
