I am a Certified Project Manager and LEED Accredited Professional with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Starting my career as a researcher for the energy sector, I worked as a research assistant at Dalhousie University and subsequently as a Bioenergy Consultant for Environment Canada. Later on, I moved to work in the engineering consulting industry mainly assisting in the design and construction of commercial and industrial type facilities. My experience has been mainly focused on providing services for the light industrial and the military infrastructure located all across Canada. As an electrical designer, I have been involved in the design and analysis of power distribution, lighting, communication, and fire alarm systems. These days my work has progressed to include a mixture of both design and project management services. I am a BBA graduate from Capilano University as of May , where I was heavily involved in the business undergraduate society and formation of the Marketing Association of Capilano Students (MACS). As a partner in the MACS, I helped host regular speaking engagements and as well as opportunities for students to connect and share ideas. In addition, we successfully executed three on and off campus charity events, which raised funds and awareness for local organizations. During my fourth year at Capilano, I accepted a position as a marketing manager for a non-profit start-up called Cyclebetes (Currently ' What Matters Foundation'). This was a great opportunity to bring my work experience in to the classroom, and classroom experience into my work. Specialties Working in the non-profit sector has been a remarkable opportunity to give back to my community while I gain relevant marketing experience. This industry requires marketing professionals to work with a limited budget to deliver high impact, cost effective promotions.
