As Vice President, External Affairs for the Abyssinian Development Corporation (ADC) for the past eight years, Zanetta created and implemented the fundraising, strategic plan and communications strategy for the agency. At ADC, Zanetta planned and implemented fundraising events grossing up to $2million, a range of programmatic events including one that provided groceries to 10,000 families in one day, and planned and managed a diversified fundraising budget of $7million. Prior to ADC, she served as Project Director at Cause Effective, a provider of nonprofit management assistance, where she provided governance training, facilitated special events and resource development workshops, and consulted on strategic planning, for small to mid-sized not-for-profit organizations. Zanetta studied in Italy at the United World College of the Adriatic and the University of Trieste, and graduated from NYU as a Journalism major. Zanetta has shared her practical experience, managerial expertise, and proven record of success as adjunct faculty at Columbia University’s Fundraising Management Program.
