A Bay Area native, I graduated with honors from UC Berkeley in 1985 with a bachelorâ€™s degree in Economics, and have remained in the East Bay ever since. I began my career in the finance industry in 1987 originating loans at San Francisco-based banks. In 1995 I relocated my business to Montclair. I live in the Rockridge area of Oakland with my wife and three children. I am an active member of the Lake Merritt Breakfast Club and have been involved with coaching and umpiring in North Oakland/South Oakland Little League.
