Www.Yvette-Lopez.com It's not surprising that Yvette Anna Marie Lopez would become the latest sensation in hot Latin performers. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico into a family of musicians which included her grandfather, father, and uncles, Yvette began as a Spanish dancer when she was four years old. "I have always wanted to sing I grew up watching my dad and his brothers and it became my dream. I sang in a mariachi group at the age of 11 and performed in New Mexico until I was 16." The Lopez Brothers, father Gilbert and uncle Jerry were well known in Santa Fe as regular performers at the festivals, and community events, but their dream was to break into pop music and that meant leaving Santa Fe. The band took a chance and went to Las Vegas, playing in small clubs in rather rough parts of town until they gained a reputation as a seriously talented band. With her dad living in Vegas, Yvette grew up between the glamorous city and historic Santa Fe. Her mom, "a strong beautiful soul" kept her grounded in New Mexico while visits to her dad claimed a whole different lifestyle. The Lopez brothers added more members to the band and became known as "Santa Fe", playing in different Vegas hotels and enjoying quite a following over the years. Today they are "Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns" and have performed with some of Las Vegas' biggest entertainers, produced several cd's and continue to pack venues wherever they appear. Uncle Jerry has performed as lead guitarist in Ricky Martin's "Livin' la Vida Loca" tour and shared the stage with Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan and the late Celia Cruz at the first annual Latin Grammy Awards. By the time Yvette started modeling at seventeen she was on her own in Las Vegas. The lifestyle was in her blood by then, dressing up at any time of day, continually meeting different people, taking big bites out of life. The music was still with her, on the back burner, simmering until she could concentrate on the hard work she knew it would take, but modeling was fun and easy and she was young Ready to "try anything once, twice if I like it". Appearing in Playboy the first time when she was 19, she went on to appear in 6 issues of the magazine and launched a career that took her to LA and the world of celebrity. She made appearances on the red carpet and her sexy photos were found on the pages of magazines, both American and Latin, including Maxim, Lowrider and FHM's "100 Hottest Celebrities". "I loved LA because of the weather and it was a place to get started on what I know best, which is singing and modeling and I did a bit of acting." Yvette worked in commercials, a few independent films, a pilot with Zalman King and made a celebrity guest appearance on Chris Angels Mind Freak Halloween Special while she was finding her way back to the music. The song that brought her back to the story of a boyfriend cheating on her with a man. "Tell Me It's a Lie" was recorded in Miami with Lewis Martineé, founder of the girl group Exposé. Excited about singing again and being in the studio, she went on to Jualtulco Mexico to record with producer Willie Wilcox and a song titled "Toda La Noche". When Yvette met Jens Gad in LA, producer/songwriter famed for producing the group Enigma and their famous sound, it took about 30 minutes to write their first smash "Bloodrush". They worked in his brother Toby's hit factory in Studio City, CA the Strawberry Bees Studios. Two weeks later Yvette flew to NYC to write and record another three songs along with an EPK and a music video in Jens' midtown studio. The songs and video can be found at yvette-lopez.com. Sizzling club tracks, flirty topics like "Autopilot", fun tracks like the Facebook song "7000 BFFFB" and the club hymn "Dive" are already fan favorites. Yvette has recorded a total of ten songs for a new cd with some of the songs now being played at clubs and radio stations in Europe and Latin America. Writer/producer Peter Rafelson, creator of many number #1 and top ten Billboard singles for the likes of Madonna, Stevie Nicks and Britney Spears wrote and produced the song "Freakshow" for the album and is involved in the production of the show for her tour. "I love to travel the world" she says looking forward to the tour, "and music is my passion." With her boundless energy, Yvette never finds herself with too much to do. She recently became a spokes model for Below Your Belt, a popular, fast growing European skin care company, and will travel around the world promoting the brand. She will also be involved in their "Saving Penguins" program, adding another animal charity to share her time with, along with "Last Chance for Animals". Returning to Las Vegas to put her new show together and prepare for a European and Latin American tour was an easy decision. Santa Fe is the home where she goes to kick back and be with family but it is Las Vegas with it's "anything goes" lifestyle that is her creative home. "Vegas is the place for me to create exactly what I want for the show. It will be an extremely sexy, fun dance show and what better place for sexy?" She will also be working with Playboy award winning photographer Robert Scott Hooper while at home, producing new photos for her tour and modeling for his "erotic autos" book project. Is there another Playboy feature in her future? Like Yvette says, "I love surprises, followed by great sex, ha, ha!" Yvette Lopez is ready to prove that she is the latest Hot Latin Sensation, as she hits the international stage with her "Bloodrush" tour.Recently Added
