Almost Home Animal Rescue was founded by Val Israel and Nancy Travis in 2010. AHRA is dedicated to the rescue and care of cats and dogs in need. It is our goal to find each animal a safe and loving home.In order to save, rehabilitate, provide medical care, and find loving homes for as many animals as possible, we need to enlist the help of others. Volunteers are needed to help AHAR with transporting animals, taking them to adoption events, and many other aspects of rescue. Donated funds will go towards covering the expenses associated with rehabilitating and placing the pets we take under our care.
