Training Specialist, Sr., Lockheed-Martin Military Trainer, Northrop Grumman As Force Track Coordinator and Tactical Information Coordinator for a number of years, I directly supervised AEGIS Combat System watchstanders to effectively manage the tactical data provided by force sensors. I maintained a very high data link reliability rate and reporting accuracy for which I received a LOC and FLOC (during Desert Storm). Held qualifications on nearly every CIC watchstation, which knowledge I imparted to others while serving as Training Petty Officer at 3 commands, also receiving a LOC. After the Navy, I have continued to share my knowledge as Training Specialist and Military Trainer in the defense industry. Here I am involved with developing and evaluating training simulations for the AEGIS Combat System to provide operator Submode Training. I regularly study system specifications for multiple baselines and apply that information to the lessons we maintain or that we are evaluating. We also utilize lab time to test lessons on the tactical system to ensure accuracy and functionality. I have a keen interest in project improvement and management. I had a lot of success in these areas at Mindspring and would like to apply those skills in the defense industry relating to AEGIS or Data Link Systems.
