Tamsen draws from a wide variety of tools and experiences in change management, communications, and marketing (both online and off) to help companies and organizations present themselves to best effect. After starting her career as a change management consultant, Tamsen spent years as a client, including completely rebranding The Boston Conservatory (and raising applications and donations by double digits), and redesigning the fundraising communications strategy for Harvard Medical School, which again led to double-digit growth in gifts. Tamsen brought that client perspective into her work as a successful brand and digital marketing strategist in agencies, where she's created brand, content, digital, social, integrated media, community building, and audience engagement strategies for nonprofits, startups, retail, restaurant, CPG, and BB brands. Tamsen holds bachelors degrees in American Studies and in Marketing, an MA in Arts Administration (Public Relations and Crisis Communications), and an MBA in Management Communications and Organizational Behavior. Tamsen is the mother of two boys who regularly challenge what she thinks she knows about communication, an intellecutal magpie, and a midlife marathoner.
