My interests are pretty eclectic. Computer guy by day, I am pretty laid back, and very much enjoy learning about and experiencing new things. In my spare time I do a lot of partner dancing (mostly salsa) and am a member of an amateur salsa performance group. I play with food (some people call it cooking) - in the past few weeks I have made a rice pilaf, chocolate souffle, guacamole, and California onion dip which didn't come out - damn you, low-calorie mayo! Other things I barely have time for is my love of movies, live music, nature, theater, nonfiction, and BookTV (I know, I know, watching books on TV is inherently ironic :-) ). I love traveling (the last two places I visited were in the Middle East and India), it's a great way to learn more about the world. I always take too many pictures when I travel and at important events; I am even an unofficial photographer of my sister's band (my photograph is on their album cover, so I got the CD for free :-). Fame and fortune surely awaits. I also enjoy teaching, and have taught computer science and dance classes in the past. Not at the same time though, although now that I think about it, it would be fun to create an army of dancing programmers. Or programming dancers. Ok, maybe that's a bit scary...
